Researching Educational Capital in a Technological Age

By Bruce Allen Knight, Bernadette Walker-Gibbs, Allan G Harrison

Overview

In this edited collection the emphasis is firstly on how concepts such as social, human and economic capital fit more broadly under the umbrella of educational capital in terms of fostering a shared identity and building capacity for change.

The concept of capital is more often thought of in terms of social, human and economic capital with the focus being on building capacity amongst these sectors in a variety of ways.

The collection then concludes more specifically with how the technological age provides new challenges for educators today.
