Drawing on the depth of international publishing and event management skills and networks of its principals, eContent Management P/L is actively developing a list of Asia Pacific journals, books, readers, conferences, portals and self-paced learning materials in management, healthcare, education and counselling.

Full text of individual articles is available through Pay per View (PPV) at Atypon. Multi-user, multi-campus online access to journal backsets is available to institutional print subscribers by IP address range. eContent Management P/L journals are abstracted/indexed in: Thomson-Gale, PsycINFO, ProQuest, EBSCOhost, IBSS, Medline, CINAHL and AMI; listed with: Ulrich's, APAIS and DEST register of refereed journals. Selected journal content is aggregated on Thomson-Gale, Meditext, EBSCO Publishing and Proquest. Book parts and book chapters are available in full text online under license through Ebook Library and Informit e-Library.

Building on extensive contacts in the international academic and professional community, journal publishing and book trade, eContent Management P/L also provides extensive consulting, marketing, Asian agency management and publishing services to scholarly & professional societies and publishing houses such as Sage Publications, Thomson, John Libbey & Co., Kogan Page and the American Management Association.

A privately-owned publishing house, eContent initiates, sponsors, manages and grows publishing opportunities, in particular in the Asia Pacific region, which are often beyond the reach of larger publishing companies. Drawing on rich global resources of skills and contacts, eContent's principals work collaboratively with scholarly & professional associations and editorial teams to develop international journals, texts and conferences, while providing direct personal service to societies, editors, authors and subscribers. Librarians, booksellers, subscription agents, library suppliers, abstracting & indexing services, database licensees and copyright managers receive prompt, effective service from eContent's experienced team members - and may negotiate directly with the principals as required.

James has 30 years' experience in international journal and book publishing, involving journal initiation & book acquisition, project management, list development and reconstruction, scholarly & professional society liaison, international marketing & sales management, customer service and production, performing to strict budgetary constraints and competitive sales challenges.

James graduated from the University of New South Wales in 1990 with a Masters of Science & Society, has a background in Philosophy (Flinders University), Life Sciences (University of Adelaide), Social Sciences (UNSW) and Informatics (NOVI Amsterdam).

Initially recruited as an Editor and Journals' Manager by Elsevier/Excerpta Medica in Amsterdam from 1976-1986. James has since established, led and managed publishing units in Medical, Legal, College and Scholarly publishing at Butterworths, HarperCollins, Medical Journal of Australia, McGraw-Hill, Pearson and Thomson under various imprints. In 1997, James registered his own academic and professional publishing and consulting company (Calibre Communications P/L) which transformed into eContent Management P/L in 2000.

Benefiting from a broadband-enabled publishing environment, the company moved from Sydney NSW to Maleny QLD in July 2002. James serves on the boards of the Maleny & District Community Credit Union Ltd (current facilitator), the Hinterland Business Centre and Barung Landcare Association Inc. eContent Management Pty Ltd was nominated for The Premier's Export Awards (QLD) 2003, is the recipient of an Export Market Development (QIDS) grant, and has extensive distribution networks and professional relationships in Europe, North America & East Asia.

Suzanne Cremen Davidson

A director and co-founder of eContent Management Pty Ltd, Suzanne is also the Managing Director and founder of Life Artistry, a specialist career development practice consulting to individuals and organisations.

Suzanne holds degrees in Law and Arts (English and psychology) and is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court of Australia. She is also a qualified careers practitioner, working with individuals to assist them with self-assessment, exploration of work / life options, career management, skills development, transition planning and accomplishment.

Throughout her career Suzanne has accumulated a wealth of expertise including holding the positions of General Manager, IIR Conferences, an international conference and events company; National Marketing Communications Manager, Minter Ellison, one of Australia's largest law firms; General Manager and Publisher of the Corporate, Commercial, Civil & Criminal division with global publishing company Thomson Ltd (Lawbook Co), and Business Development Manager for Lawbook Co.

Suzanne has presented seminars and conducted courses on career development, business communications, services marketing, and law in Australia and overseas. In 1998 Suzanne was commissioned as project consultant by UNICEF and over 50 other children's organisations to orchestrate a national media campaign and produce Australia's first National Children's Summit at Federal Parliament House, Canberra.

In 2002, Suzanne established Life Artistry, a career consultancy helping people to find the work they love. As well as providing career assistance via face-to-face consultations and internet services, Suzanne conducts corporate training, presents courses and seminars and speaks on career-related topics.

Suzanne is a member of the Australia Institute of Company Directors, the Australian Association of Career Counsellors, the international Career Planning & Adult Development Network, and the Law Society of NSW. She is also a director of the Maple Street Co-operative, the original of the modern day community co-operatives in picturesque Maleny, Queensland, where she lives.
